During our time in Chivay, we stayed at Mama Yacchi in the valley. An adorable b&b with an amazing view, incredible Peruvian food, and an alpaca "Mancha". This cozy inn was built with traditional materials hidden away downhill in the village of Corporaque.
The food was amazing, and this time the alpaca tasted great.. & the chicken noodle soup was the best I have ever had. Surprised to learn Peru grows thousands of types of potatoes and 40 types of corn. Dessert was a drink called Chicha Morada, made of red corn, the color was a deep purple red and tastes like thanksgiving!
