Day 4: drive to Puno
Breakfast at Mamma Yacchi with a hungry alpaca looking through the front door!
We traveled to Maras and Yanque to visit some churches and observe some traditional dances. As usual there were plenty of markets and vendors.
We said goodbye to David our tour guide and joined in on another 8 hour bus ride to Puno.

Hot Springs in Colca Canyon
There are 5 volcanoes around the canyon which creates hot springs all over the valley. We were able to visit one while we stayed at Mamma Yacchi. It felt wonderful but the water was steaming hot and the air was freezing cold!!
Colca Canyon
Also known as Condor Canyon, it is deeper than the grand canyon and named after the birds that live and fly around the valley.
