Day 2: Arequipa

The weather is in the 60-70s cold and sunny, but I was freezing at night. Arequipa had maybe one traffic light intersection in the majority of the city.. Drivers are crazy, and the streets stink of exhaust. Sidewalks are narrow so if you fall off you may get hit by a car... Stop signs don't exist either... Or a limit to how many people can fit in one bus. McDonald's has a Mc'nifíc on the menu...

Truly enjoying many conversations and interactions where no one understands what the other is saying.

I start using Italian words by accident.. But I am getting better!

I ate alpaca... It tastes like it smells...

Pisco sours are amazing: Pisco (brandy), egg white, sugar syrup, & lots of lime.

Lomo Saltado for dinner along with the best tomato soup I ever had... (Lomo Saltado is sautéed sirloin, onions, tomatoes, and crinkle cut fries with rice)

Short day today.. Waking up early tomorrow for a long tour of Colca Canyon!
